I kinda want to to a historical skin series. The Neo-Assyrian Empire was an Iron Age polity in Mesopotamia, which lasted from 911 to 612 BC (when it was finally crushed at the battle of Harran). It succeeded the Middle Assyrian Empire, which unsurprisingly succeeded the Old Assyrian Empire, and ruled almost every people of the region from Egypt to Babylon. References:
